Social Media Intern
Part-time. Stipend.  Looking for a social media intern who loves the medium and is interested in innovation/design and wants to learn about “futuring” practices . Requires 1-2 year of relevant digital marketing experience. 

The ideal candidate:
  • Has advanced knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Tiktok, FB, Twitter, etc.)
  • Can learn our brand voice and apply to social media content.
  • Capable of creating 2-3 posts a week.
  • Is thoughtful, responsible, detail-oriented and can see a project through to completion.
  • Can work with founders to plan posting approach/schedule.
  • Is a good writer with basic graphic design skills.

Research Intern
Part-time. Unpaid. In this position, the research intern will explore concepts and ideas related to the practice of futuring, including future literacy, the history of the future, and approaches for navigating uncertainty in a business context.

You should:
• Have a curious mind.
• Has experience and ability to discover information through a variety of sources and in a variety of formats (text, image, video).
• Be able to understand the context of a question being asked in order to discern between productive and unproductive areas to pursue, and what information to focus on.
• Be able to analyze findings and make connections at the macro and micro level as it relates to ideas.
• Present information in digestible formats. One way is to know how to tell a good story through your research.
• Responds to questions about why something is of human interest?  Why does it have dramatic importance? 
• Be organized, able to work relatively quickly, and prioritize tasks. 

Contract position. We’re looking for a sharp writer/editor with experience writing, editing, copyediting. Our writing needs span a range from the practical to the playful. Your writing will appear in a variety of media, including web, print, videos, social media, in proposals, and presentations.

We need someone who loves writing and:
• Is a great storyteller
• Can inspire audiences like a speechwriter and clarify like an editor
• Enjoys working with writing and narrative development as strategy, as fiction, and as a cultural driver
• Can elevate the stories we tell to inspire our collective, clients-partners, and anyone else interested in imagining what's possible in the future

Desired Qualifications:
• Strong writing and presentation skills
• Ability to distill and interpret research for multiple audiences
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary, client-oriented setting
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced organization; ability to adapt, and a can-do attitude.
• Interest and/or experience in immersive storytelling, design fiction, narrative design is a plus.
